ABOUT ME
Andrea Desiree Bensussen is a SAG/AFTRA/AEA actress and producer, and CEO of Bensussen Art Features. Her training originally began at the age of 5, participating in international dance competitions, she was trained in: Jazz, Tap, Clogging, Hula, Tahitian, Ballet and Hip-Hop. She won several platinum awards as a tap and clogging soloist, and in one of the dance competitions she was invited to dance with Disney. From dance she then progressed to high school theatre, where she choreographed most of her "Airband" and theatre dance performances. In college, she adventured into film - becoming an extra on set. Andrea acting alongside the leads, Kate Del Castillo and Marco Treviño in the Netflix show Ingobernable (2018). Andrea also was a contestant on the show "Let's Ask America" with host Bill Bellamy (2015).
After graduating UCSD with a BA degree in International Business and a Theatre minor. Andrea was inspired by a philosophy class which prompted her to produce and write her first short film, "Lauren Higbie" (2017) which became a 5-time award winning film. It was selected to premier at the Laughlin Festival in Las Vegas (2017) and won a Special Recognition award. Soon after, she produced: commercials, trade-shows, live events, films and expo's in various industries, such as: food/beverage, hospitality, TV film entertainment, music and gaming.
As a host, she created engaging content and production managing all-day events. Interviewing with: executives, producers, writers, musicians, cinematographers for networking events with studios, such as: Netflix, HBO, Marvel Studios, Disney, Dreamworks, Hulu, Sony, Paramount, NBC, Nickelodeon, NBC, CAA and many more!
